Pianist Kathleen Supové brings the work for solo piano she commissioned and subsequently premiered at Bargemusic NYC in August 2017 to Cambridge, Massachusetts. Fjord for solo piano (2017) was inspired by the fjord-scape (in its obvious inherent beauty but more so in its mist-filled, murky,  submerged, and ominous, sub-rosa characteristics) as well as by the composer's recently discovered distant Norwegian lineage.
