Spokane Symphony Brings du Bois’ “Fanfare” Back to the Pacific Northwest

Spokane Symphony Music Director Eckart Preu will conduct the Spokane Symphony in a performance of Alexandra du Bois’ Fanfare for symphony orchestra. Commissioned and premiered conductor Randall Craig Fleischer and the Anchorage Symphony in 2008, Fanfare finds its inspiration from the inauguration of the first African-American to hold the office of President of the United States.
