DESCRIPTION:Conductor Joshua Barlage leads the Fort Dodge Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Alexandra du Bois' Fanfare for orchestra. Originally commissioned and premiered by the Anchorage Symphony with conductor Randall Craig Fleischer in 2008\, du Bois wrote Fanfare in honor of the inauguration of the first African American to hold office of President of the United States in 2009. It has since been performed throughout the United States.
