Each summer in Copenhagen\, the festival offers audiences an intimate\, accessible\, and inspiring cultural experience.\n\nThe core mission of Equinox is to celebrate underrepresented composers - especially women - and to combine music with dance. Constructed after months of in-depth research to uncover forgotten and new works of music\, each program shines a light on lesser-known composers\, whose brilliant voices don’t always get heard.\n\nEvery Equinox concert also features at least one world premiere of dance\, created specifically for the festival in close collaboration with musicians. At Equinox\, music becomes a sensory experience that can be both seen and felt.\n\nAbove all\, Equinox exists to present classical music and dance in a relevant and accessible way\, where everyone can feel both welcome\, engaged and inspired. Experience a fresh\, up-close perspective on performing arts at Equinox Festival 2026.
