PALS Children’s Chorus Premieres Alexandra du Bois Latest Choral Work, “The Quechol’s Cry” in Cambridge, Massachusetts

WORLD PREMIERE of Alexandra du Bois’ Prologue: The Quechol’s Cry for large children’s choir, string quartet and prepared piano

The libretto was compiled and edited by PALS Children’s Chorus conductor and Artistic Director Alysoun Kegel – along with composer Alexandra du Bois. The libretto is a combination of text, flashpoints and inherent inspiration from the Nahuatl people and Native American cultures.Prologue: The Quechol’s Cry was commissioned by PALS Children’s Chorus, Boston, Massachusetts.
