Conductor Jonathan McPhee (Boston Ballet Orchestra) leads the Boston Conservatory Orchestra in the East Coast Premiere of Alexandra du Bois’ Fanfare for symphony orchestra. Originally commissioned and premiered by the Anchorage Symphony with conductor Randall Craig Fleischer, du Bois wrote Fanfare in honor of the inauguration of the first African American to hold office of President of the United States in 2009
